Status Update
The server move has been completed, however the DNS changes are taking longer than usual to propagate. Once the DNS changes take full effect, we will do some final testing on some of the game modifications. It is expected that access to the new round will be available at some point on Saturday.

Good to know. Thanks for the heads up. End of Age complications could have been communicated a little bit better though imho, many of my kd members had no clue what was going on. It has caused some frustration. Nevertheless, happy to see we’re almost there.

Omac, plz take all teh time you need to get this thing started, rather have us wait a day longer, than all get deleted on day 3 becuz something’s wrong…
get the game straight, the servers on the role, than post when you will throw it open like;
Wol will be open in 3 hours
gen will be open in 15 hours
so that everyone has the chanse to log in at the verry beginning.
but only post opening times when your sure, verry verry sure, it will work!!!
im really looking forward to see what you have done with the game , and i hope you will furfill my expectations..

the most important thing for people to stay is inform them of what’s happening. inform.. inform.. inform.. but also, the right information. i actually agree with gNoLem on his point. but also, i fully understand your position (OMAC) what with all the online games you’re setting up besides Utopia and Earth like Nationstates 2. hopefully we get past all this… coz if not, you’re spreading out too thin OMAC. one at a time please. =) i’d shift my attention to NS2 for now.
@ Blumbles, Yvn actually got his quote right. OMAC meant servers will be back by saturday and they posted the info the same day that’s why Yvn mentioned it in the first place.

Is there a login problem with the new server? It is not acknowledging my login. I signed up again and when given the choice to enter old username to stay with kd did so but again its not letting me login.
To be honest the lack of info and fair warning is very frustrating. I fully understand the need to take your time over a server move/upgrade. But a weeks notice to players would have been nice and everything I read a updated start date post/notice it was already past the states time.

I created a new account by clicking on Sign-Up but after that it tells u to go Migrate ur old account had u decided to stay with your old kingdom, but when I do that it says “Failed to load old data” anybody else having the same problem???

I decided to see what would happen if i make a new account using my old email, and i was able to. So doesnt that mean that my old account has been deleted? I chose keep me with my old kd last age.

you have to create a new account!! in there you have the choice to migrate the old account, trade in an acount or create a newone.
So yes, create an account, i create a new one exactly identical to the last one, but they’re having problemas with the “migrate” theme still!

it let me start a new account and has all my info. but then it tells me couldn’t find a kingdom to put you in but it does say i have a account with them

c’mon guys.. this is buggier then an ant hill… i tried to create an account, then it said my name was to long, so i fixed it, but the page changed what i wanted my personality and race to be w/o me changing it.. and i didn’t see it till it was to late, i deleted it, assuming i could make another, but nope. email address provided has already created an account.. yet i don’t have an account viewable… sweeeeet… no.. wait.. stop pushing things that aren’t ready this is a common thing that you have been able to do since the beginning of the game a decade ago..FIX THE PROBLEM

i’m in , created new account had to use ‘tab’ to move around then migrate account .. smooth as it can go .. i think that some things could have been more clear about how to navigate thru this , as far as i can see all is good , lets get it on :D

BUT
I didnt get an activation code and I pressed the resend button 6 times now and waited for 10 min+ and still no code. I need to access my KD and get us ready! This is the most crucial time of the Age. Please HELP!

geesh ..i get an email telling me my user name and password and it included aan activation key. None of it works , I can’t log in. Why the need for constant, radical change? Ever hear the saying if it ain’t broke don’t fix it?
